<description>You talk about the Beck Diet Solution. What is it that you like about it?

Author and motivational speaker Brian Tracy says that people are happy to the degree that they are in control of their lives. I have found if I take control of just one thing that has been flopping in the wind it really helps.

Emotional eating is triggered by, well, negative or stressful emotions. Adding the stress of beating yourself up over your eating is counterproductive to stopping emotional eating. Of course getting to the underlying reason why we eat when emotional is the real issue. But taking control of some small things can help on the emotional front - make it just feel a bit better and reduce some of that constant gnawing anxiety over food.
