Spring cleaning…
Decided to forgo Cathe or Sean or whomever this morning because I woke up and just on a whim decided to clean my windows. All 4 of them. Which is work, lemme tell you. Although I didn’t count it, I still considered it a workout cause damn it I was working. And during all of that my shoulder still felt okay.
Eats have been ooookay today. It’s always the end of the day, after dinner that kills me and I have to fight not to eat anything else after I’ve finished my planned meal. I’m pretty sure there will be a loss tomorrow, but there’s no reason for me to be eating something unplanned after I’ve finished dinner. Gotta work on that. I’ve tried all kinds of things - mostly telling myself no eating after 8 or going to brush my teeth, but I’ve been kinda lax on those things lately. Since I had a cavity the last time I went to the dentist, I really should be brushing my teeth before bed anyway.
Okay, I’m rambling. Sorry.
I haven’t read Beck today. It’s hard for me to read on the weekends (and I know this is Friday, but I had the day off) because I do most of my reading on the subway or bus on the way to and from work. Since I didn’t go to work today I didn’t read. I still will probably review my response cards before bed though and hope to get a little reading in on Monday.
Took some “before” pics tonight and will take the fit test tomorrow morning. Looking at the pics I’ve realized I’m a classic pear shape. My upper body - arms and back specifically - look really nice, if I do say so myself, but my hips, thighs and stomach are like UGH. I don’t want to lose my shape, I just want to lose the weight and build some muscle. I’ve decided to do the classic rotation because even though my goal is to lose weight, building muscle will help me shed more fat even when I’m not working out. Which is definitely the goal.
Shoulder feels good. A few clicks, but that ain’t nothing new, my shoulder always made those clicking noises. The pain is gone too. Eh, go figure. I’ll still go to PT though, it certainly couldn’t hurt. And that’s what flexible spending is for.
